Inside the Actor’s Studio Apartment is the brainchild of producer and director Daniel Bowers. Together with writer Bill Sawalich and videographer Jim Pusch, Bowers has created a celebrity interview television program with a twist: his guests aren’t superstars and his TV show is on the Internet. But Bowers’ guests are brilliant comedic actors who are willing to offer a glimpse into their real lives. Think Oprah meets Cribs, with fart jokes.
Along with hosting the show, Daniel Bowers is the creator of cult favorite independent films A. (anonymous), Gus, and Roy. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and daughter, where he pines for a steel horse. His favorite actor is Snooki.
Bill Sawalich is a photographer and writer who lives in Missouri with his wife and daughter and three poorly trained dogs. He’s been published in McSweeney’s Internet Tendency and Yankee Pot Roast, and one time he almost met famous actor Nicolas Cage.
New York videographer Jim Pusch is the perfect cameraman for this show. He’s worked in video production so long that he considers himself old school. Jim worked on Star Wars Episode II, where he was kicked out of a viewing room to make way for George Lucas.
